Direct Care Staff
SUMMARY:
Provides support for individuals and/or groups of people with disabilities in residential and/or community settings. Direct Care Staff may provide overnight-awake supervision. Assists individuals supported in identifying and communicating his requests and needs for services and supports. Implements services and supports to address each person’s goals and desired outcomes as identified in the Individual Support Plans (ISP).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Direct Care staff must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Direct Care Staff must have a high school diploma or GED
- At least one year experience working with individuals who have IDD/MI diagnosis.
- Direct Care staff must have a valid driver license and personal vehicle insurance coverage.
- Direct Care staff must maintain proficiency in training and certifications and privileging, as required.
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification, Medication Administration (if administering medications), NCI certification, and other training as required.
Habilitation Technician
SUMMARY:
Habilitation Technicians provide support for individuals with disabilities in day program and/or community settings. Habilitation Technicians also assist individuals supported in identifying and communicating requests and needs for services and supports. Habilitation Technicians shall implement services and supports to address each individual’s goals and desired outcomes as identified in the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Habilitation Technicians must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Habilitation Technicians must have a high school diploma or GED.
- At least one year experience working with individuals who have IDD/MI diagnosis.

Qualified Professional
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field from a college or university and two years of full-time, post-graduate experience with individuals who have a IDD/MI diagnosis including supervision of direct care staff of at least one year.
- Have a Master’s Degree in a human service field and one year of full-time post-graduate experience with individuals who have a IDD/MI diagnosis including supervision of direct care staff of at least one year.
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a field other than human services and four years of post-graduate experience with individuals who have a IDD/MI diagnosis including supervision of direct care staff of at least one year.
